This portfolio website provides an overview of three accessible digital musical instruments developed with disabled musicians from Northern Ireland. The portfolio focuses on the technical aspects of these instruments. However, it is essential to emphasise that these instruments are part of a broader ecosystem, consisting of fellow musicians, facilitators, methods of music-making and other technologies. This ecosystem as a whole improves the musicians' access to music-making activities, not the instruments in isolation.
